Steve Paton trained in theatre at the Ensemble Studios in the early 1970s. During the ’70s and ’80s, he was in a number of theatre productions including Pirandello’s ‘The Man With The Flower In His Mouth’ Directed by Don Mamouney, Ibsen's 'The Master Builder' Directed by Don Mamouney and the Ensemble Theatre’s production of Sam and Bella Spewack’s ‘Boy Meets Girl’ Directed by Hayes Gordon. Life beckoned in other directions and Steve has only recently returned to acting after spending some two years refining his skills under the tutelage of Sam Haft at the Sydney Actor’s Association. As an enthusiastic septuagenarian he is looking forward to some demanding and some not so demanding old folk roles.
