Roles
XLS- Tradie
Description:
(30 to 35) Tradesman
The Tradesman should be mid-late 30s – he’s a boss, not a labourer – and maybe he’s even an owner-builder, which would explain that particular sense of pride he’s feeling right now. I imagine that, once he’s beard-free, he’s clean cut but with a practical, Aussie can-do look about him that gives us a sense of capability, patience and craftsmanship.
***We really need a actor here to have facial hair or a beard and then be happy to be clean shaven at the end of the script *** Please put in notes if they have a beard or facial hair etc
Fees & Terms:
$6,500 - 1 x 10hrs call
May be required for Makeup Tests @ $75 per/hour
Everest – Mum - needs to have real baby
Description:
(26 to 34) the Woman is late 20s / early 30s, attractive and clean cut. She’s got the hang of this whole parenting thing now, so will have a relaxed and warm character that reveals her love of her new baby and her joy in his toddlerhood.
We need this actor to please have a child age aged btw 8 to 12 months old
Please only submit woman who have a baby/toddler. As for COVID reasons we need a baby in the scene and must be the real child of the mother. Thank you!
Note there is potential this woman might be pregnant in the script so they might use a fake baby bump.
Fees & Terms:
$6,500 - 1 x 10hrs call
May be required for Makeup Tests @ $75 per/hour
Everest – Dad
Type:
Bit Part (non speaking)
Description:
(28 to 35) The husband should be early 30s, intelligent looking but still outdoorsy – he could be a rock climber or a regular bushwalker. He has a tall, lean build, also distinguishing him from the other male characters in the scripts.
**Dad doesn't need to be related to the mum or child as there will be distance between them***
Fees & Terms:
$4,500 - 1 x 10hrs call
XLT – Tradie/business owner/weekend dirt bike rider
Description:
(35 to 45) The Bloke is mid-thirties, I imagine he looks pretty rugged – he’s definitely an outdoors type and needs to be seriously strong to get on the bike and make sure he stays there. Maybe he has a bit of stubble on his cheeks, and he definitely looks like he could handle an extreme sport or two.
He will not be required to actually ride a Dirt Bike just look as though he enjoys riding it on the weekend.
Fees & Terms:
$5,500 - 1 x 10hrs call
Transit – Woman/business owner – aged 30’-40’s
Description:
(30 to 40) The Small Business Owner should be mid-40s, attractive and capable looking but still polished and sophisticated. She knows that image is important and her business is her pride and joy and she is absolutely central to its success. I imagine she has a fuss- free look – either shorter hair, or hair that can be pinned up in a pony tail, and an attractive and calm, unruffled personality that shines through, whether she’s driving her Transit Custom in traffic or waiting at the oven door to pull out the souffles.
Fees & Terms:
$5,500 - 1 x 10hrs call
