Hi!! Thanks for doing these self test for us :)
1. Please start with your chat-to-camera and include the following:
- Your full name
- Your agent
- Any advertising currently on air?
- Have you ever appeared in anything for Government?
2. Please make sure that you upload your STILLS photo to Showcast as well. (can add in as many as you like).
3. If you are auditioning with your Parents/Siblings or Real Family please only upload one video and puts names in first and last like
Siblings and Couples:
First Name- All NAMES- Last Name- Surname
Please upload altogether in the one video and put as though NOT on showcast so you are adding yourselves as a new person.
Self test instructions for roles (please see your specific role for instructions) -
Males/Females Meeting Friends at Live Music Venue:
They’re going into a gig, relief and excitement in getting out and seeing live music again. Nice and smiley, happy (but please keep it natural and not over the top) – they’re really happy to be there!
Action:
Enter the gig, scan the QR Code at the door to ‘check in’ with your phone and then make your way to the bar, you’re excited and happy, then you spot your friends, excited to see them and you’re all together out at live music again.
Please feel free to improv lightly around the scene. Keeping it happy, excited, natural. Please do twice.
Family:
They are going out to the MCG for the football. They’re excited to be heading out again and be able to see their favourite team play!
Action:
Make their way to the front of the line, scan the QR Code at the door to ‘check in’ with your phone.
Please keep it natural and not over the top, but still excited and happy to be heading out again to see your favourite team. If auditioning as a family please interact with eachother.
Female Friends at Brunch:
They are meeting eachother out for brunch – excited and happy to be able to go out and eat together!
Action:
Enter the café. You spot your friend sitting and you head over to her. Excited to see eachother, smiling and happy but keeping things natural. Once you sit down, scan the QR Code on the table to ‘check in’ with your phone. Order some food and maybe take a photo of your food or a selfie of you guys together. Feel free to improv around this scenario.
Older Man entering the gym:
He is excited to be able to get out to the gym again!
Action:
You are walking up to the gym with your friend, chatting about how excited you are to be getting back into things after so long. Arrive at the door and there is a QR Code but you’re unsure how to scan it – ask the Gym Staff how to do it and he shows you how to scan your code.
Be sure to keep things happy and excited to be getting back to the gym, but still nice and natural.
Gym Staff Member:
2 men enter the gym – you see them notice the QR Scan code but they aren’t sure how to do it – you show them how it works and how you scan it on your phone to “check in” – once that’s done they head inside to work out. Nice and natural.
