Delivery is as much in the look and expression, as the lines. Naïve charm. He is a likeable character. AUDITION ACTION: *Please perform the below 2 x sections - 1 - opening scene where 'Lucas' arrives in the home, chucks his coat to the salesperson (can be a chair/stool) delivers: "Thanks buddy". Settles into the home and says "I'm home". SALESWOMAN Please, make yourself at home. LUCAS Hey thanks, buddy. Lucas throws his jacket onto the very confused Saleswoman as he walks past her. Lucas breaths in deeply and exhales. LUCAS (To camera) I'm home. & 2 - Kitchen (don't have to be in a towel, can be fully dressed) using a random kitchen appliance - and failing. "It doesn't take a genius to see the difference'. INT. DISPLAY HOME KITCHEN - DAY Lucas is at the counter wearing only a bath towel making a smoothie. He drops an orange in the blender only to find it's made from Styrofoam. LUCAS (To Camera) It doesn't take a genius to see the difference. & 3 - Not essential, but if any other moments in the script speak to you, the director would love to see your take on them!
