Vibe as per the script is a muscly Swedish masseuse named Helga. Feel free to have fun with it.
Fancy Restaurant Valet- See last paragraph one Page 1 and first paragraph on Page 2 of script.
Show a few takes of each of these actions.
1. he holds the door open as Amy steps out of her car.
2. Ian chucks him the car keys. He catches them and smiles at Ian, when suddenly a gold coin comes out of nowhere and hits his chest before dropping into his other hand. He looks up in shock to see - a leprechaun strutting past him with a wink.
Hotel Check in Staff Member -
Show us a few various takes of you checking in our Heroes Amy & Ian, they have matching orange luggage and gold coins all around them. A variation of takes from surprise and awe, to just straight customer service, etc.
Competitor Car Rental Staff Member -
She’s a bored & jaded office worker. A few takes of you pretending to serve customers from your desk (as per page 2 of script) Have fun with it and show us a few variations of her serving a customer.
COUPLE
1. As they’re driving, they look up and see the rainbow and react to it.
When inside the rainbow looking at the leprechaun – spot him for the first time. Reaction to spotting him.
Angle on Ian and Amy. Both a little creeped out. Ian glances at Amy to test the temperature. Without even taking her eyes off the leprechaun, she shakes her head at him in disapproval.
2. Couple are getting massages by the pool. They’re both in massage heaven, eyes closed, mouths slightly agape. Enjoying this luxurious moment on their holiday.
3. We hard cut to Ian and Amy’s enraged faces in the waiting room. They look completely exasperated. We cut wide to reveal they’re waiting in line at an inferior competitor’s rental office. The line isn’t moving and it looks like they’ve been here forever.Show us some reactions to being in this line – everything is a drab shade of grey.
LEPRECHAUN
1. When we first see the Leprechaun hitchhiking - He’s bathed in the rainbow light from above, standing perfectly still with his thumb popped out like a hitchhiker. His pot of gold shimmers and spills golden light everywhere. He stays completely motionless, staring directly at Ian and Amy with steely eyes.
2. Angle back on the leprechaun, this time tighter. His face is still expressionless. We hear the rustle of gold and cut to see his other hand emerge from the pot holding a shimmering gold coin. A silent offer.
3. The leprechaun in the backseat with his pot of gold, nodding along to the hip-hop beat.
4. At the hotel, gold coins fall through the air - The leprechaun, standing on the mezzanine level, flicking gold coins into the air.
