Notes

Zara Redford is an Australian actress of Indian and Persian descent, similar in type to Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Ayesha Madon. She is a graduate of NIDA’s Screen Actors Studio and has trained under coaches including Claire van der Boom and Brendon McDonall. Her recent work includes a fast-food campaign for McDonalds Australia and various dramatic short films for SAE and UNSW, where she worked alongside other NIDA and WAAPA alumni. She has an extensive background in classical music and musical theatre, having played violin for Sydney Youth Orchestra for three years and featured in local productions of “Chicago” and “Teen Beach Movie”. She is currently in rehearsals for “Godspell: The Musical”, and her other upcoming projects include an ambitious indie short produced by Vortex Pictures.
