Notes

Daniel (they/them) is a non-binary writer, director, producer and performer. They received a Bachelor of Performance: Acting from the University of Wollongong in 2014. Their acting credits for theatre include: I Hope It's Not Raining In London (Interstate Tour, Barefoot), Keep Your Feet (Rapid Reads), Bushfire (Sydney Fringe), Teenage Wildlife (PACT). For television, they acted in: Significant Others (ABC), Power Games (9), Return to Devil's Playground (Foxtel). Their debut novel, YEAH / YES was initially published as podcast and is now available as an audiobook on Audible, Apple, Amazon and all other audiobook sites. They are currently in development with National Theatre of Parramatta for their first play. Other writing works include childrens books for their nieces and nephew and dramaturgical support for Cassie Hamilton, Chloe Perrett and Elenoa Rokobaro. Directing credits include Strangers in Between, 8: A Play About Marriage Equality (University of Wollongong), Punk Rock, Neighbourhood Watch (Stooged Theatre). Assistant Director: Doubt, Angels in America (dir. Dino Dimitriadis, Apocalypse Theatre), The Rise and Disguise of Elizabeth R (also stage manager, dir. Shaun Rennie, Sugary Rum Productions), Merrily We Roll Along (also stage manager, dir. Dean Bryant, Hayes Theatre Co.), Dubbo Championship Wresting (also stage manager, dir. Daniel has worked in stage management at Sydney Opera House, Lyric Theatre Sydney, Riverside Theatres Parramatta and most frequently at the Hayes Theatre. They have also worked in pre-production roles on Hamilton, Muriel’s Wedding and Moulin Rouge.
