Hamish Nelson is a Melbourne based actor from the Goulburn Valley region. He graduated from the Arts Academy at Federation University Ballarat, with some of his graduating credits being Posthumus Leonatus in Shakespeare’s Cymbeline (dir. Kim Durban), and Governor/Azdak in Brecht’s The Caucasian Chalk Circle (dir. James Wardlaw). Since graduating, Hamish has since worked on a variety of films, ranging from short to feature. These include films such as Five Stars (dir. Mohammad Azman), Fractured Mind (dir. Thomas Gottliebsen), and Terrible, Awful, Perfect Timing (dir. Anika HerathRedmond). You can soon see Hamish in the upcoming films, Hushed (dir. Sandy Schluter) and Quota (dir. Michael Papavero), with other credits including Alcotraz Penitentiary Melbourne and Aunty Donna. Hamish is proudly represented by Howell Management, a member of MEAA Actors Equity, and ambassador of HeartKids Foundation and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
