ANICA CALIDA, originally from Boston, MA began her dance training at Boston Ballet and Jeanette Neill Studios.
She is an Ailey/Fordham BFA graduate with honours. She’s been blessed to dance and tour with Ailey II, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and Franco Dragone’s Le Reve in Las Vegas among other companies and projects internationally.
She studied acting in both the U.S. and abroad with such notable studios and teachers as MTB Studio (New York), Brave Studios (Melbourne, Australia), Howard Fine Acting Studio (Melbourne, Australia), Anya Saffir and Jacquelyn Landgraf of Atlantic Acting School (New York), Anthony Abeson (New York) and Larry Moss.
Credits include The Lion King Antelope tour, Ensemble/Shenzi cover Australia) and Aladdin, Ensemble (Australia). She made her Off-Broadway debut in safeword. written and directed by Asher Gelman at American Theatre of Actors in New York. She looks forward to conquering more of life with a cheeky smile and a cute two step on a yacht!
