Notes

Originally from Queenstown, New Zealand, Alexia moved to Melbourne in 2010 to study Music Theatre at Danceworld studios. Since graduating Alexia has worked extensively across the music theatre, television and corporate entertainment industry. Previous credits include: High Fidelity (pursued by bear), Pr!ck (pearl entertainment) Saturday night fever (Stageart), He Said She Said (lion heart dance company) and Gilligans Island (Humdrum Comedy) with TV appearances on ABC’s “It’s a Date” and “The Gruen Transfer”. Alexia has spent the past few years performing and choreographing for the corporate entertainment trio “The cover girls AU” around Australia and internationally as guest entertainers on Princess, Holland America and P&O cruise ships. Alexia is also a company member of the Improvisation group “Impromptunes” and has performed “The completely improvised musical” in multiple comedy festivals around Australia. "Alexia Bainsley was fantastic as Ginger, pushing the movie-star persona into the mythic with each torrid breath, line, and step she took. It was a captivating performance" - Australian Arts Review "performers of note who will go onto big success. Ginger (Kiwi Alexia Brinsley) is a scene stealer and amazes with her body contortion, voice, and ability to pull focus" - ThePlusOnes "Bouquets have to be given to Alexia Brinsley for her comic abilities" - Stage Whispers Role of 'Doreen' in 'Saturday night fever' "It is a truly talented cast made up of golden Logie winners, (John Wood) house hold stage and screen actors and music theatre superstars (Jemma Rix) ... but I simply must put a special mention to Alexia Brinsley, who plays several different characters throughout the show, for how eye-poppingly good her dancing is, and how funny all the characters she played were" - What's on Comedy
