Nicholas Labuda

Nicholas hails from Toronto, Canada, where he started out as a background and featured extra on Designated Survivor and The Handmaid’s Tale. Nicholas has entered into and won various competitions at film festivals for young and aspiring actors and filmmakers, in addition to having done some training in a wide-range of areas such as, piano and visual arts. Nicholas practised his on-screen techniques with casting directors from Los Angeles and New York, and studied theatre and cinema at a Canadian university. Since the move to Melbourne, Australia, Nicholas has honed his craft through self-producing a series of short skits and short films, further worked on the set of various Australian-filmed television series such as All Her Fault, Crazy Fun Park and La Brea, as well as modelling work and started a filmmakers club at his local university student accommodation. Nicholas enjoys filmmaking and creative writing in his own time, alongside photography.
