Sydney-born but Darwin raised of Malaysian Chinese heritage, Tsu Shan is a Mum of 3 with an Optometrist/public Health background, now working as an Actor and award winning Writer/Producer. She chooses to create stories about issues that matter, particularly in relation to women and minority groups. Picked as one of SPA's 2018 "Ones to Watch" and Charlie's Grant recipient with Australians in Film in 2021, her first feature film, UNSOUND, was nominated for an AACTA Award for 'Best Indie Feature' and 'Best Australian Feature Film' at the Melbourne Queer Film Festival in 2020. Her online action drama “The Wild Orchards” won 2 out of 7 categories at 2018 LA Webfest, including most Outstanding Drama and herself as most Outstanding Actress. Her short film, "The Legacy", was picked up Amazon Prime’s ‘PJs and Pixels’ Channel. Short, “Tragic Enough”, where Tsu Shan played the leading role, won the Golden World Award for ‘Best Producer’ and World Awards of Merit for ‘Best Ensemble of Cast’ at the 2016 World Film Awards.
