Taylah O’Brien is an Australian born actress currently living in Sydney. Throughout her high school years, Taylah engaged in various selective yearly courses at Sydney Drama School and NIDA including playing the leads of ‘Mollie Ralston’ in ‘The Mouse Trap’ and ‘Lady Macbeth’ in ‘Macbeth’. After graduation, Taylah completed a two-year Advanced Diploma of Screen Acting covering all the necessary skills and techniques required to meet the demands of today’s industry. Whilst at Screenwise, Taylah collaborated and starred in various short films with AFTRS students including playing ‘Fanny’ in ‘The Floor Show’. Taylah then went on to complete an assortment of various training at The Hub Studio, Acting Mastery and Acting Coach Scotland before successfully auditioning to partake in a 6-week summer intensive at The Atlantic Acting School in New York City. Here, Taylah worked under the finest theatre tutors performing in roles of ‘Olga’ in Chekhov’s ‘Three Sisters’ and ‘Sister James’ in Shanley’s ‘Doubt’. Using her strong comedic abilities, Taylah is currently working on writing and starring in her own short film, continuously challenging herself as an actress.
