Tawni is an ADG Nominated Director, for the comedy series Method, that she also co-created, produced and played the lead role, as Emma Gordon. The award winning comedy series garnered funding from Screen Australia, and won the ‘Best of Spotlight' award at Melbourne Web Fest in 2017. The show was then acquired by the Nine Network and premiered on Channel 9GO in January 2018. https://www.methodseries.com/ Tawni has recently released another Short Film, 'Better Safe Than...' that she co-directed, produced and played the lead role of Josie. The film recently premiered at 'Dances with films festival' in Los Angeles, 2018 and had a great response. Tawni also ceated, wrote, produced and played the lead role of 'LUCY', a short film that took out four awards along the festival circuit from 2016-2017. She ‘Best Actor’ overall for her role, as well as ‘The People Choice Award’ (Peninsula Short Film Festival) and ‘Peoples choice award’ & ‘Best Screenplay’ (Fresh Flix Festival) Tawni has worked professionally as an actor over the years on shows such as 'Fat Tony & Co', 'Winners & Losers' 'The Slap' (to name a few) and has most recently shot the second campaign for Metamucil (as Meta) after the First campaign went Viral in 2017 and won several awards nationally.
