Taia grew up in Ayr, North Queensland. Graduating from Actors Centre Australia in 2022, Taia has explored a range of roles including: Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (dir. Claudia Barrie) Amy in Dry Land (dir. Troy Harrison) Lady Macbeth in Macbeth (dir. Francesca Savige and Lizzie Schebesta) Aleksey Belyaev in Ivan Turgenev’s A Month In the Country (dir. Maeliosa Stafford) Rachel in Consent (dir. Katy Fitzgerald) Since graduating she has performed with Sport for Jove (2023) a professional Shakespeare company in Sydney in their production of Macbeth. She played one of the Wryd Sisters, Fleance and a Macduff Child. She has also worked on screen with a guest role on Home and Away, Channel 7.
