Notes

In 2014, Charles made his theatre debut as Don in a small production of Howard Korder’s Boys’ Life. He then studied for three years at the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), graduating in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Acting degree. Notable roles he played during his time at WAAPA include Barnaby Tucker in The Matchmaker and Morris Dixon in Present Laughter. Charles has also worked with esteemed acting coaches, including Elizabeth Kemp and Les Chantery. In 2019, Charles secured the role of Jeff Fenholt in Mary Harron’s biopic Dali Land, to play opposite Sir Ben Kingsley. He also wrote and produced the short film, Mother Dearest. At the beginning of 2021, Charles booked the role of Kirin O’Conner in Season 2 of Amazon Prime’s The Wilds. Unfortunately, this meant he had to pull out of Dali Land. The show was released in May 2022. Charles currently lives in Sydney.
