Stuart graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (N.I.D.A) in 1996, performing in The Cherry Orchard, As You Like It, The Merchant of Venice, The Pajama Game and more. Upon leaving, he appeared in Hamlet and Jake and Pete – A Road Story for Cats for The Theatre of Image, and Live Acts Onstage for the Black Swan State Theatre Company. Stuart’s diverse stage credits include leading roles in The Boys, The Actor's Nightmare, Fiddler on the Roof, Macbeth, Lady Windermere's Fan, Così, and Waiting for Godot. As director, Stuart has helmed productions including Così, Mr Kolpert, and The Pajama Game. His screen work includes numerous short and feature films, most recently portraying Benny in The Well-Dressed Man and One Eye in Kung Fu Western. In October 2023, Stuart played Leontes in The Winter's Tale for Empty Space Productions. Stuart will appear as Ben in The Dumb Waiter in late 2026, fulfilling a long-held ambition to perform in a Harold Pinter play.
