Nic Borrott, son of a cabinet-maker, is a screen actor and film & television writer based in Sydney, Australia. He flavours his taste for narratives of ambition, age & mortality, and justice with a hearty helping of sarcasm and wry nervous tension, often articulated through steely and charming performances. While majoring in Screen Practice & Production at University as part of his Bachelor of Arts - Media/Bachelor of Laws, Nic served as writer/director for his student films, Did You Know My Dad is Batman (2019) and Intronaut (2019), the latter of which he was awarded Best Director by Macquarie University. After a surprise encounter with a mysterious model scout on an unaccustomed trip down Pitt Street 6 years ago, Nic began his fashion industry career in the Sydney, London & Milan markets, working with innovative global labels including Diesel, RM Williams, Pal Zileri, Ksubi, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar & Grazia, represented by IMG. The use of fashion, image and the human face have been key inspiration for Nic’s manner of telling human stories.
