I have just turned 18. In the past six months I have had speaking roles in 2 award winning Australian series, appearing as young Beth in The Twelve S3 (Binge Australia) and Young Anita in Playing Gracie Darling (Paramount). In late 2023 I spent 3 months studying at the Cambridge Acting Academy in the UK. Despite being just 15 at the time I was accepted into the course run by esteemed tutor Helen Strange, studying modern and historical plays, with a strong focus on Shakespeare and this allowed me to hone my film and television skills. Helen said of me: “Scarlett came to class prepared with research done and lines learned…she approached all the imaginative work with enthusiasm and playfulness and was always able, in performance, to use full energy and surprise us with her transformation. She has an actor’s instincts and this with her lack of ego, her imagination, her ability to analyse text, listen to advice, and take direction make her an ideal student for any course. I have no hesitation in recommending her for any further training or employment.”Between the ages of 9 and 12 I attended Charlesworth Ballet School, dancing full time alongside my school studies. The 30 hour a week program included classical, pointe, Spanish dancing, contemporary, character and I received high distinctions in my national dance exams.. I was one of just 10 Australians who were chosen to attend the Moscow 2019 World Ballet Grand Prix at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy where I received a highly commended for my solo performance. For the past 6 years I have attended a West Australian Performing Arts school. I'm comfortable on camera, disciplined, quick to learn lines, and enjoy collaborating with other creatives.
