Notes
Samuel was born and raised in the coastal town of Port Macquarie on the New South Wales mid north coast. In 2016, he graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) with a Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre) and is a recipient of WAAPA’s Finley Award.
Since graduating, Samuel has been predominantly working in theatre for young audiences as both a performer and director. He played the role of Andy in both The 78-Storey Treehouse and The 91-Storey Treehouse (CDP Theatre Producers), as well as Billy in Are We There Yet? (CDP Theatre Producers). His work in this area has seen him tour nationally on multiple occasions, performing in more than 50 theatres across the country, as well as touring internationally in 2024. He also played Ram Sweeney/Kurt’s Dad in Heathers: The Musical (The Mitchell Old Company).
Most recently, Samuel made his swing debut with the Australian cast of Grease the Musical (Xroads Live) and has been performing locally and internationally with the show Rat Pack: Reloaded (SMA Productions) in the role of Sammy/lead vocalist.
