Notes
Ellie Barkla (she/her) grew up in the regional creative melting pot of Castlemaine and, after a year of travelling, she commenced her formal training in 2016 at Federation University Arts Academy (formerly BAPA), and graduated with a B.A Acting with Distinction in 2018. Since then, Ellie has enjoyed dipping her toes into the world of stand-up comedy, Shakespeare, and music theatre. Her most recent roles include 'Beatrice' in Much Ado About Nothing (Australian Shakespeare Company – Prague production), ‘Margo’ in Bright Star (Three’s A Crowd) and 'Scout' in Analog (Three Fates Theatre Company). On screen, Ellie's recent credits include the drama series New Gold Mountain (SBS).
