Rowan has just completed a regional tour of “Rock of Ages” playing Stacee Jaxx. His high baritone and his strong stage presence have led to him playing lead roles in many stage productions as well as guest appearances in some of Australians most recognized TV series from Neighbours to Wentworth and most recently the American Broadcasting Company production “Reef Break”. Rowan has trained as a classical singer with the University of Queensland and toured Europe as a soloist with the award-winning Oriana Choir. He continues to train with Jeff Seymour and has attended the Howard Fine Acting Studio. In Australia, he has worked with Emma Freeman, Sian Davies, Tony Tilse, Daina Reid and Chris Adshead. He is also a Producer and writer and his films have been screened in festivals around the world. Most notably the St Kilda Film Festival in Melbourne. His most recent credits include short films “Crossfire”, “True Blue”, “Home Brew” and “Emmi” all in post-production or currently on the festival run. Rowan is a trade qualified carpenter/builder with a Diploma in project management. He is a licensed motorcyclist and has played the Trombone for 35 years. In 2013 he was the Queensland State Eisteddfod Champion Baritone.
