Rhys Mitchell is an Australian actor and award-winning filmmaker now living in the US. He recently wrapped on a leading role in the David Lynch produced, The Happy Worker alongside Thomas Hayden Church, Colm Meany, Meagan Holder and Josh Whitehouse. Rhys is best known for his portrayal of Kayne in the award-winning comedy series, Upper Middle Bogan (ABC AU/HULU US) as well as Scooter in the award-winning drama series, Barracuda (ABC AU/BBC UK) before being cast as Tim, a leading role for the upcoming FX comedy series, Shark Lords. Rhys is also seen in critically acclaimed drama series Glitch (NETFLIX US/ABC AU), The Newsreader (ABC/BBC) and LOVE ME (BINGE). Rhys recently worked alongside Hugo Weaving and Phoenix Raei in Mark Leonard Winter's inaugural mystery-drama feature, THE ROOSTER. The film will premiere at the Melbourne International Film Festival in 2023.
