Rekha recently starred in the AACTA nominated film A Savage Christmas' in the role of Leia Savage, playing the daughter of award-winning actors Helen Thomson and David Roberts. The film featured an ensemble cast, including Rachel Griffiths, Gary Sweet, and Darren Gilshenan. 'A Savage Christmas' enjoyed a sell-out QLD premiere at the Brisbane International Film Festival, going on to be picked up by streamer Binge in December 2023. In 2023 Rekha was named a finalist in the prestigious Carmen Duncan Scholarship, beating out over 300 hopefuls. A graduate of NIDA's Actor's Studio, Rekha has experience across stage and screen and secured her first US role in NBC's 'La Brea'. Rekha graduated with a Bachelor of Communication (Public Relations) with Distinction from RMIT University Melbourne.
