Notes

Rom Lamb is similar in type to renowned actors such as Elliot Page and David Tennant. His unique qualities and looks allow him to embody the more queer-orientated roles but also have the experience to portray cis-gendered characters of male identity. Rom brings quirkiness, seriousness, and emotional maturity to his work. Wanting to always connect with someone. This makes him a very interesting and captivating performer. Among Rom’s notable works are “Frankenstein” (directed by Ross Hall) where he got to portray the famous character of The Creature allowing him to delve into the childlike tendencies of a ‘human’, “Warp and Woof” a period play (directed by Kim Durban), something that has always been a passion of Rom’s, as well as getting to portray his first real male orientated character. Following on with the self-devised “Exquisite Corpse”, which brought out a more vulnerable side of Rom as he performed an act relating to his disability of Autism. Rom has trained under esteemed coaches in Ballarat, including Ross Hall, Kim Durban, Danielle Carter, Melanie Beddie and Emma Waxman. Has graduated from Federation University Arts Academy with a Bachelor of Performing Arts. Attended a NIDA short course for “ACTING FOR SCREEN” (2017) as well as National Theatre between 2016-2017.
