Notes

6'9" Actor, Bachelor of Arts (Theatre Arts and Creative Writing), Diploma of Screen Performance at WAAPA Class of 2025, background in Basketball, strong US accent Angus is an actor from Perth, having a number of years experience acting for film and theatre. His time at Curtin University, where he studied Theatre Arts and Creative Writing, helped him decide that he would pursue acting. During his time at Curtin, he took the stage many times, performing in plays such as The Laramie Project, Festen and Kid Stakes, as well as enjoying collaborating with other students for numerous original shows. Angus was also fortunate to be in a number of short films during his time at Curtin, including playing the lead in the award winning Don't Talk About the Monster on the Roof, for which he received a nomination for Best Actor at the WA Made Film Festival. In 2025 Angus was given the opportunity to study at WAAPA, completing the Diploma of Screen Performance. The opportunity to do a course entirely focused on the discipline of acting, with a focus on screen performance, was something Angus thoroughly enjoyed and felt prepared him to put his best foot forward for whatever opportunity comes next.
