BIO Oliver recently completed a national tour with Bell Shakespeare as one of only 6 actors in The Players. His time on tour saw him tackle roles ranging from Hamlet to Richard III and allowed him to hone his skills for the stage. Prior to this, Oliver trained at the Actors Centre Australia, working with directors such as Gale Edwards, Adam Cook, Jennifer West, Julia Cotton and Anthony Skuse. Highlights of the training included Prior in "Angels in America" (Edwards), Orlando in "As You Like It" (West), and Kulygin in "Three Sisters" (Cook). Over the years, Oliver has had the opportunity to work on multiple projects with Nigel Poulton, someone he now considers his mentor. Upon graduating, Oliver was cast in "Everyone I’ve Ever Loved or Slept With or Both" (Sydney Fringe) and started his own production company (Loose End Productions) producing and co directing a new work, "(Merry) Christmas". Prior to ACA, Oliver was cast in the role of Billy in the 2014 feature film, "1500 Steps".
