Amy is a broadcast journalist and Queensland-based actor of Anglo-Indian heritage and holds both an Australian and British passport. She has had a strong passion for performing since she was 2 years old, and has been commended by her co-workers and crew for her professionalism and quick learning.
She began auditioning and working with agencies in WA in 2017 at age 15. Since then, Amy has spent years working on her craft, attending weekly classes and workshops with casting directors and actors. She has participated in workshops at NIDA, WAAPA and Black Swan Theatre Company, as well as studying year 12 ATAR drama. She is skilled in speaking in an Australian and American accent.
Amy has been in advertisements shown on GWN7 across WA and was one of the main actors in Danny Green’s "Stop the Cowards Punch" campaign video which was shown on The Project, a national based talk show. She was also shortlisted in 2020 for Dive Club, an Australian Netflix series. She has worked with multiple casting directors, directors and professional actors, and in 2017 Amy attended The Celebrity Experience, founded by actor Adrian R’Mante, which allowed her to work with professional international actors in a week of intensive workshops.
In 2024, Amy moved from Perth to Queensland to commence her career as a broadcast reporter with Nine News. She now lives in the Gold Coast where she works in public relations and media management, whilst attending weekly acting classes.
