Rupert Bevan grew up immersed in the world of performance and after packing his bag and leaving his hometown in Queensland he is a 2020 graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts (BFA Acting). During his final year Rupert performed the role of Billy Claven in ‘The Cripple of Inishmaan’ (dir. Georgina Naidu) and worked alongside his acting company on ‘Earthquakes in London’ directed by Sarah Goodes. Other roles at VCA include Lucio and Barnardine in ‘Measure for Measure’ (dir. Tony Smith), the titular role of ‘Uncle Vanya’ (dir. Budi Miller) and Abe in ‘Snore’ (dir. John Kachoyan). Rupert is passionate about the arts and is excited to now begin his career in Australia and abroad, across stage and screen as an actor, writer and director.
