Notes
Nadia Low is a Brisbane-based stage and screen actor originally from Papua New Guinea. Growing up between those two worlds has shaped both her perspective and her work. She has led independent film and theatre productions including NightWaves, The Cat, Disenchanted, and Prize Fighter (play reading), and performs in immersive live environments at Bluey’s World. Her training includes Uta Hagen technique, vocal and dialect study, ensemble performance, active movement practice, and the Assembly+ Program at La Boite Theatre. She is particularly drawn to detailed script analysis and character development, building performances from disciplined action and behavioural truth. As a proud Papua New Guinean and Pacific Islander artist, Nadia is interested in storytelling that reflects grounded, emotionally present communities. She is seeking continued conservatory training to deepen her craft and expand her range, with the long-term aim of contributing to the creative landscape in Papua New Guinea.
