Samantha is a multi award-winning Actor, Composer, Writer, Performer and Online Content Creator. In 2018 Samantha debuted her cabaret ‘Baby Bi Bi Bi’ which toured nationally to sold out audiences across Australia including at Adelaide Fringe Festival, Bondi Festival, Gaytimes and the Melt Festival in Brisbane. It was this show that won her ‘The People's Choice Award’, a ‘Best Cabaret’ Nomination and a ‘Midsumma Development’ award at Melbourne Fringe in 2018. In 2019, Samantha won a prestigious ‘Green Room Award’ for ‘Best Ensemble’ alongside Erin and Bel for their work in ‘Baby Bi Bi Bi’. In 2020 Samantha made waves on TikTok for her original comedy sketches. Her account has earned her a loyal following of +280,000 followers, over 13 million likes and has seen her interviewed by SBS, featured on Sunrise, Studio Ten and The Project. Samantha has been named a “superior creator” by Tanya Hennessy, “a hilarious treasure trove of Aussie nostalgia” by Punkee and was named one of the “Top 10 comedian influencers on TikTok in 2020” by the Analytical TikTok Database ‘In Beat’. Late last year Samantha was honoured to be nominated for a prestigious AACTA Award’ for ‘Best Short Form Comedy’ for her work on TikTok and recently attended the ‘AIMCO Industry Awards’ in Sydney where she was a nominee for ‘Best Creator on TikTok’. Through her content creation she has worked in collaboration with brands including Spotify, Pedestrian TV, Bonds, Netflix US and earlier this year, starred as a lead in the TikTok series ‘Self Care’ (SLAG Productions) funded by the Body Shop. Samantha premiered her comedy cabaret ‘No Hat, No Play! The Cabaret!’ at last year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival alongside Mel O’Brien to a sold out season and was named ‘the future of Australian comedy’ by the Herald Sun. Recently she and Mel both won the ‘Best Cabaret’ weekly award for their run at Adelaide Fringe (2022). She performed her second comedy cabaret ‘Shit-Wrecked!’ with Mel at this year's Melbourne International Comedy Festival which earned them both a prestigious ‘Golden Gibbo’ nomination. Samantha was recently selected for APRA’s first Musical Theatre Song Hubs where she collaborated with a select number of musical theatre composers from Australia and was paired up to write a song with Tony nominee Eddie Perfect. With a choral background spanning over twenty years, Samantha has also performed as a backup vocalist for the Bee Gees, Jessica Mauboy and Olivia Newton John.
