Min has worked hard to develop his skills and versatility: in a variety of stage and short film projects, and continuing professional training. His first big television role, not long after graduating from South Seas Film & Television School, was in the archetypal New Zealand show, "Shortland Street" where for six months he played Winston Youn. He was a Junior Guardian in "Power Rangers" and had a role in "Marco Polo Season 2". Min’s feature film debut was in "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny" which was shot in New Zealand. A man straddling two cultures he also has a base in Korea where amongst other things he has taken an interest in training young people in acting and martial arts. That is also where his competitive martial arts skills have been honed, with a Taekwondo silver medal at the Korean National Olympics, a gold medal at the Hapkido National Championships, and 7th Dan Black Belt status in total. Add to that a fine voice and musicality, training in mime and clowning and you have a young man passionate about what he does and equipped to deliver professionally in a wide range of settings.
