Having grown up in Boorloo (Perth, Western Australia), in 2019 they relocated to Naarm (Melbourne, Victoria), where they went on to study a Bachelor of Music Theatre at the Australian Institute of Music (AIM). She also holds a Diploma of Performing Arts and a Certificate IV in Music Industry (Performance). Credit highlights include Logainne - "Schwartzy" in ‘The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee’ (AIM, dir: Johanna Allen), puppeteering the albatross Dave in ‘Owl and the Albatross’ (Theatre Works; VCE Theatre Studies Playlist Production) and playing Slacks - an anthropomorphised pair of pants - in 'Unsorted' for two consecutive seasons (Theatre Works; Midsumma Festival). Mikaela also has experience in Production and Stage Management (including Sound and Light Operation), and is currently studying a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management (Transit Dance/Ausdance).
