Margot Fenley trained as an actor at The Victorian College of the Arts. Most recent performances include Rita in The Bridge (2011: Victorian Arts Centre and La Mama 2008), Lady Macbeth in Macbeth (2010 Darlinghurst Theatre Company) and various Melbournalia II (2009: forty-five downstairs). For the State Theatre Company of South Australia, she played Linda Loman in Death of a Salesman (2004), Desdemona in Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet) (2004), Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible (2003) and Rivera in Scenes from an Execution (2002). She played Eve in both the 2005 and 2003 seasons of Myth, Propaganda and Disaster in Nazi Germany and Contemporary America at the Stables Theatre in Sydney and performed in Afternoon of the Elves for Windmill Performing Arts and the State Theatre Company of South Australia, and in Sydney in 2006 and Seattle, Washington in 2007. She has also performed in productions for the Victorian Arts Centre, HotHouse Theatre, La Mama, Theatreworks, Napier Street Theatre and St Martins. TV includes multiple guest roles on City Homicide, Blue Heelers and an ongoing guest role on Neighbours (Helen Carr)for 18 months, amongst many others. Margot directed Explorations: Macbeth for three consecutive seasons for the Melbourne Theatre Company and a wide range of shows in her capacity as a teaching director for the National Theatre Drama School, St Martins and the Victorian College of the Arts, where she is currently co- coordinator and acting teacher for the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre). Margot has been a proud member of Actor’s Equity since 1991.
