Notes

Maeve (she/her) is an actor, director, writer and puppeteer. She is a strong physical performer, with a background in gymnastics and circus. She is primarily based in Naarm/Melbourne, but also has a home base in Meanjin/Brisbane where she grew up. She holds: Fundamentals Certification Stage Combat - Society of Australian Fight Directors Fundamentals Certification Stage Combat - British Academy of Dramatic Combat As Writer: - Finalist for The Cooper Prize (16th St) - She Writes Collective - Theatre Works 2022/23 - ATYP National Studio 2021 (selected to participate as one of 20 emerging playwrights from around Australia) As Actor: - Lead in Queer historical short "Ballad" - WINNER: Best Short Film at the LGBTQ+ Los Angeles Film Festival 2024 - Recipient of the 2016 QUT Vice Chancellor's Elite Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship - Recipient of the Jennifer Blocksidge Memorial Award (QUT, 2018)
