Lulu Quirk is a 17-year-old Actress, based in Sydney, New South Wales. Predominantly training in musical theatre, Lulu Has been cast in 17 musicals since 2014, with Theatre companies and performing arts colleges. As well as musical theatre, Lulu has been training in acting for Film and Television for the past 3 years. She has been on the set of a Feature film, music video, short film and Online Campaign.
Lulu has been training in musical theatre for the past 10 years. Receiving theatre coaching from some of Australia’s notable industry professionals, Such as Amanda Benson, Todd Keys and Nicholas Christo. Lulu also currently holds a Certificate IV in musical theatre. Which was the result of studying full time, at Palm Studios Co. As well as theatre, Lulu has received screen acting training from a few of Australia’s best film and television performers, Such as Pippa Grandison, Steve Le Marquand, Lauren O’reall, Carley Edmonds, Anna Lee and Rhonda Findleton. Lulu currently takes screen acting classes at Screen wise with Anna Lee. She also does vocal/dialect lessons with coach Todd Keys. Lulu has participated in all kinds of acting technique classes such as improvisation technique, Audition Technique, Emotional recall technique and script analysis technique to name a few.
Lulu has most recently played the ‘Stepmother’ in ‘Into the Woods’ directed by Nicholas Christo, ‘Ariel’ in ‘Footloose’ directed by Stephanie Ryan, ‘Elle Woods’ in ‘Legally Blonde’ directed by Todd Keys, and ‘Brooke’ in ‘Be More Chill’ directed by Stephanie Ryan. Other productions Lulu has played leads in, include Godspell, Annie, Bring it On, 13 the Musical, Fiddler on the Roof and The Wiz. On-Screen Lulu has been a Featured extra in Australian Feature Film ‘Unsound’, Supporting role in Australian musician Max C Bud’s Music Video ‘Relevance’, Extra in 2020 Sydney Film Festival finalist short film ‘Her Own Music’, And featured Extra in an online media campaign for the University of Technology Sydney.
As well as acting, Lulu is also a musical theatre and R&B trained singer. With experience performing at corporate events, gigs and cabarets. Tap, Jazz, ballet and hip hop dancing training are also things on Lulu's schedule. Lulu has a basic knowledge of Auslan (Australian sign language), which she began learning at the start of 2019. Aside from performing, Lulu surfs and Stand-up Paddle Boards with her father who is a professional surf/Stand-up paddleboards coach and competitive participant. On the other side, Lulu has extensive creative skills in painting, sewing and designing and creating apparel. Which she gets from her mother, who is a creative program facilitator.
