Lucy Ross holds a Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre) from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Fresh off the Greek Islands of the Gold Coast, she made her mainstage debut as Ensemble in MAMMA MIA with The Very Popular Theatre Company. She has also recently appeared as Liz Hurley in SHANE WARNE: THE MUSICAL, where she had “sharp comedic instinct” (Blue Curtains 2026), Joy in A NIGHT WITH THE VILLIANS, providing “a lush, smooth vocal tone that is simply a pleasure to hear” (Stage Whispers 2025), Monteen in PARADE, Swing in DISENCHANTED & Jemilla in FIREBRINGER.
Additional theatre credits include Malvolio in TWELTH NIGHT, a “crowd favourite” (Night Writes 2021), Ms Fleming in HEATHERS, Queen Of Hearts in ALICE’S ADVENTURES, Ensemble in WE WILL ROCK YOU, Mrs Schroder in ANYONE CAN WHISTLE & Ensemble in THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD where she was “a breath of fresh air” (Theatre Travels 2022).
Lucy is also an emerging music director, working with Stage School Australia on THE WIZARD OF OZ, SEUSSICAL & SHREK.
Lucy relishes the opportunity to work on new Australian works. This year, they have developed MOTHER BEETLE SKY by Tracy Bourne with Antipodes Theatre Company, FLIGHT! by Nicholas Hargraves and ANY MOMENT by Bradley McCaw, in which she “repeatedly commands attention” with a performance “so vividly internal”.
