Lucy Rasheed is a London trained Actress with 20 years experience in film, theatre and voiceover. She has a flare for strong character roles and exceptional comic timing and is currently represented by Adelaide Artist Management.
Some of Lucy’s career highlights have been playing Ruth Davies in McLeods Daughter's, a successful Australian drama series. She has entertained audiences as Pamela, Indian Embrace, Riverside Studios, Sydney, The Storyteller, Ovid’s Metamorphoses, Battersea Arts Centre, London and Spice Rack, Break The Ice entertainment, Adelaide Fringe.
Lucy received her Advanced Diploma at the London School of Dramatic Arts and her Bachelor of Education, Majoring in Drama at the University of South Australia. Upon graduating Lucy formed her own theatre company, 'The Flying Penguins’ and performed their co-devised comic play 'Fame or Fries' globally. They achieved 'runner up for new comedy' at The Radisson Royal Mile, as part of the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe. She has furthered her studies with ‘Acting for Camera’ Translantic Films, London and ‘Intensive Acting Course’ with director, Tony Knight.
She was voted Best Actress for 48 Hour Film Festival and her latest performance in two short films; The Colouring Book, was selected for Monster Fest and ‘SEICHOU’ for Rio De Jenario Film Festival.
Lucy has also featured in short films, theatre and voiceovers for companies such as Anifex, BHP Billiton, National Geographic, Health Australia, National Trust UK, Emerging Minds and Cinmex UK.
She has her own Production Company ‘SeaStar Rock Productions’ which is a live performance, TV series and online music for children promoting sustainability and positivity.
Lucy is currently deepening her understanding of professional voice by immersing herself in an apprentice year and completing the course 'Finding Your Professional Voice: Confidence & Impact with the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama'.
