Lawrence Ola is a Sydney based Actor, Voice Artist and Songwriter, best known for his comedic commercial work for brands Sleeping Duck and Step One, and as pilot Nigel Maiava in series 3 of RFDS - Royal Flying Doctor Service (Endelmol Shine Australia). His screen credits include feature films Strangers in a Car Park (McBrat Motion Pictures), This Little Love of Mine (Jaggi Entertainment) and Residence (Breeding Ground Productions). He has appeared on the TV shows Upright, Watching You, The Messenger (Lingo Pictures) and Wellmania (Freemantle Australia). Lawrence also appeared in the shorts The Blow Up and Rudy (Like the Pepper Films) which were part of the Sydney Underground Festival ‘23, and Social Distance (Conti Bros), which won 3rd place in the comedy category for the 2020 My RØDE Reel competition. 2025 marked his first foray into theatre appearing in the Pasifika play Fekei (Sour Cherry Productions). He made his voice acting debut in ABC’s Reef School, and was the lead of animated short Mana (Inferstudio) which premiered at the UN Oceans Conference ‘25. Lawrence also writes and records as an independent songwriter, releasing material under the name Bohifale. His single, Kind Enough to Wait, was a finalist in the Made in the West Film Fest ‘21. He has also contributed to songwriting for songs featured in various film projects, soundtracks and several TVC jingles. Lawrence is helping to produce and star in the drama/comedy miniseries Falling in Slow Motion (Sarah Dinsey Film Productions) and will team up again with McBrat Motion Pictures for the Brunei-Australian horror The Water Village filming later this year.
