Born and raised in Sydney in a big Italian family, Larissa is an actor, producer, writer, and singer/musician who has been performing professionally since the age of 4. Larissa has worked on TVCs, short films, TV, and in music videos, gaining experience both on stage and in front of the camera. Recent credits include Mia in the upcoming feature film, 'Pray for Dawn', Judith in 'Home and Away', and Helena in 'Sun Sparta', which she also wrote and produced. Larissa recently produced a 3x award winning Tropfest Finalist, 'Project Hourglass'. She is also currently writing 2 separate short-films that are in pre-production, for which she will also be starring in as lead actress and producing. Since graduating with her PhD in Molecular Biology, Larissa has consistently trained with the industry’s leading professionals on a weekly basis, and has had the pleasure of working with L.A. director Kim Farrant, Ben Mathews, Les Chantry, Yure Covich, John Bell, Miranda Harcourt, Donald Woodburn, Darren Gilshenan, Peter Andrikidis, and Michael Sheasby. Larissa is also an avid singer and musician, proficient in both guitar and piano, holds a Certificate III in Fitness, and has a Bachelor of Forensic Science, Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Hons), and a PhD in Molecular Biology.
