Currently serving as the Musical Scholar for both voice and violin, Lana is a diligent student with aspirations to pursue music and singing as a lifelong career. Her commitment to her craft is evident as she diligently studies Grade 7 Violin while having already completed Grade 6 in voice. A true enthusiast, Lana actively explores her musical creativity and has showcased her talent by writing and recording her own compositions. Her journey in the performing arts began with a bang, making her professional debut with Opera Australia in 'Turandot' in 2019, and subsequently being cast for Opera Australia's 'Atilla' in Melbourne, sadly halted due to the pandemic. Lana's theater repertoire extends beyond her professional work, having taken on lead roles in amateur theatre productions, captivating over 20,000 audience members across Geelong. Her commitment to excellence is mirrored in her singing achievements, boasting high distinctions in AMEB singing exams for Musical Theatre Grade 6 and Classical Voice Grade 4. Not limited to vocals and violin, Lana's musical talent expands to secondary instruments, currently mastering Bass and Piano. Moreover, she's an integral part of a pop band, showcasing her versatility as a lead vocalist and bass guitarist, winning multiple accolades, including Best Original Song, Best Band and Best Entertainer at the GGS Battle of the Bands 2023. Beyond her school commitments, Lana actively participates in Geelong Grammar School's Symphony Orchestra, Strings groups, and Choir, where her contributions are invaluable. Her dedication to the craft is further showcased through regular performances with these ensembles and her involvement in various Eisteddfods, consistently scoring between 93-100 and earning commendations for her vocal prowess.
