Kate recently wrapped filming on 'Nothing, Number 2', directed by AACTA winner Veniamin Gialouris, alongside John Waters. In 2023, Kate won Best Actress at the Venice Shorts Film Festival and received a nomination for Best Performance at the Houston Comedy Festival for her work in 'Clingy', a film she wrote, produced, and starred in. She has also appeared in Foxtel’s The Kangaroo Gang and Season 2 of ABC's Syd2030. Kate’s career has been marked by exciting near-misses, such as being pinned for the lead female role in 'Pokemon: Detective Pikachu'. In 2019, she was awarded the prestigious Howard Fine Scholarship, enabling her to train with the renowned acting coach. As a writer, Kate's short film 'Clingy' won Best Romantic Comedy at the 2023 Houston Comedy Festival. A passionate film enthusiast, Kate’s all-time favourite female performance is Katharine Hepburn in 'Bringing Up Baby', and she dreams of making her mark in the world of screwball comedy. Kate is also an ex-professional dancer, training full-time at Brent Street Studios. She is available for local hire in Sydney and Brisbane.
