I trained as a doctor at the University of Sydney but left the profession to pursue creative interests. I have a Bachelor of Arts (Drama) and a Graduate Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy both from Flinders University, Adelaide. I teach piano, violin and singing and have conducted choirs and musical theatre such as Oliver! and Victor/Victoria. I have performed solo and in ensembles as diverse as symphony orchestras, jazz ensembles and heavy metal/rock fusion both as instrumentalist and as a singer. I danced as a child (jazz, tap and classical ballet) and have dabbled in a lot of physical activities such as circus, karate, tennis, squash, pilates, soccer, yoga and swimming. I have taught English and choir classes to both children and adults, and have a current Working With Children Check. I have a manual driver's licence and can speak basic Japanese, French and German. My natural accent is Australian and I can do Gen Am, RP and others. My passport is valid and I am available to work in Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne. I am fully vaccinated for COVID.
