John Lief Nelson is a screen actor with experience in film, TV, and commercial work. Born in California with the associated U.S. West Coast accent, he is based on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. Some career highlights include a supporting role in the American TV show ‘Joe Vs Carole’, supporting and lead roles in various Australian short films: ‘Funny Business’ – (Winner Cannes World Film Festival ‘Best Family/Children Film’) ‘Breakin’ Silence’ – (Winner Rome Indie Film Festival ‘Best Inspirational Short Film’, and at EdiPlay International Film Festival (France) ‘Best Short Film’) John has been dedicated to pursuing actor training for screen at various acting studios on an ongoing basis. His goal is to bring natural, character-focused performance and be flexible and collaborative on set.
