Jessie is an actor and singer from Auckland, New Zealand. Since graduating from one of New Zealand’s top drama schools, Jessie has been kept busy across numerous local and international stage and screen productions. She is about to start production on season two of HAPPINESS. Jessie plays a leading role of Jacqui James in HAPPINESS, a new musical comedy series - the first season is currently airing on Three (NZ), HBO Max (Aus) and PBS (US). Other prime-time screen credits include SHORTLAND STREET, EASTENDERS, THE BROKENWOOD MYSTERIES, MY LIFE IS MURDER, 800 WORDS and Cheryl West’s chaotic sister ‘Jeanette Miller’ in WESTSIDE. Jessie most recently performed as Theresa on Sydney Theatre Company's stage in CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION. Her other noteworthy theatre credits include STRICTLY BALLROOM THE MUSICAL and VENUS IN FUR for The Court Theatre, KING LEAR and NORTH BY NORTHWEST for Auckland Theatre Company, The NZ Tour of JERSEY BOYS, Pop-up Globe’s JULIUS CAESAR and THE EFFECT at Q Theatre. Jessie attended Shanghai Theatre Academy's Summer School in China where she trained in Traditional Chinese Opera and London’s National Theatre where she studied playwriting. You’ll also hear Jessie’s voice as ‘Jim’ on Cartoon Network’s ELLIOTT FROM EARTH. She is proudly of Croatian heritage.
