Awards & Nominations: -Nominated for Best Lead Actress for Buried (2025)- Indie International Film Festival Jessica Burgess is an actor, singer and model. She grew up in Vietnam, Singapore, Dubai and Australia. Jessica has always had a passion for performing and the arts from as long as she can remember. Jessica graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Arts (Acting for Screen and Stage). Since then she has continued to learn and grow from teachers such as Erik Thompson, Dean Carey, Teresa Palmer, Mark Webber, Lou Heesom, Tony knight, Shane Connor, Brett Archer and Don Kountouris. She currently undergoes training for stunt and fight choreography at Nino Pilla International Academy of Martial Arts. She is currently the lead singer of the band Panic Prone who are currently recording music. Some of Jessica’s recent notable film credits include Kate in “Buried” (2025), Emily in “Dropbear” (2025), Nell in “The Serpents Skin” (2025), Emily in “Going South” (2024) , Lilian in “KIN” (2025), Megan in “Seasons of Love” (2025), Ellie in “Depths We Swim” (2025) and Claire in “Youth On The March” (2017).  Jessica has been nominated for best lead actress for Buried (2025). She will also be staring as Ruth in the upcoming feature film “Rex” which starts shooting early 2026. Jessica is MEAA and AACTA member.
