Born in New Zealand and raised in Australia, with Samoan, German and Scottish heritage, Jared studied at Theatre Nepean in Sydney. His breakout in cult-hit fantasy comedy THE ALMIGHTY JOHNSONS, as Norse god Ty Johnson, came a year after landing a recurring role in the iconic Kiwi series GO GIRLS. Highlights include two seasons of Netflix's award-winning SWEET TOOTH, indie horror feature GRAFTED and MONARCH: LEGACY OF MONSTERS S2. Locally, Jared has taken on roles in acclaimed crime dramas ONE LANE BRIDGE and THE BROKENWOOD MYSTERIES, and the television adaption of Eleanor Catton's Booker-prize-winning novel, THE LUMINARIES. Alongside acting, Jared practices Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, does stunts, rides horses and sings!
