In only a few years, Janine has featured in numerous short and feature films, plays, play readings and TVC's. "I think it's essential for women to see themselves in independent, resilient characters - not to say over-balancing can't be part of the charm." Janine rekindled her passion for acting after three decades of running successful dance schools. With extensive experience in dance performance, education, and stage production, Janine brings a treasure trove of professional skills to her film & theatrical projects. Awarded 'Best Actress' 2023 at the Cracked Actors' Summer Readings in the lead role of Nell (aka Natasha Pavlova) by Gerard Lewis Fitzgerald. In the 1980s Janine juggled careers as both a Primary School Teacher, and private studio dance teacher. "I found myself choreographing a new Jazz syllabus, then becoming President of Southern Federation of Dance (SFD), which led to work as a choreographer, dance examiner, producer, MC, adjudicator, teacher-trainer and mentor. I also successfully ran my own dance schools for 20+ years, introducing an original program for preschooler dance." On both international and national theatre and arena shows Janine's worked as a choreographer and dance consultant. Riverdance (1998), Cavalcade - Reins of Fire (2005), Madiba The Musical (2018 & 2019), and Fast Love - a Tribute to George Michael (2018 & 2019).
