Jack Doherty is a Melbourne-based Australian actor whose screen credits include The Fall Guy (2024), The Newsreader (Season 3) and Clickbait (Netflix). Working across both Australian and international productions, he continues to build a diverse body of work spanning feature films, television and commercial projects. With extensive experience on set, Jack brings a practical understanding of collaborative nature of the filmmaking process to every role. Having worked across multiple departments, he has developed a strong appreciation for collaboration, preparation and the rhythms of production, allowing him to work confidently and effectively within professional screen environments. Before pursuing acting full-time, Jack worked in information technology and human resources for government and in the private consultancy sector, developing his communication skills, discipline and professional approach. Outside of acting, Jack travels internationally facilitating transformative workshops for actors alongside critically-acclaimed Australian film director and acting coach Kim Farrant. His coaching practice, Way of Being, supports other artist to cultivate deeper levels of embodiment, emotional resilience and authentic self-expression. Jack’s passion and commitment to this work informs his approach to performance, enabling him to bring grounded, richly emotionally connected and truthful characters to screen. Jack is represented by ICON Management, and is deeply inspired by projects that explore compelling character-driven storytelling.
