Notes

A multi-skilled performer, Fae O’Toole is an actor, director and writer with a Bachelor of Arts (Acting) from Federation University’s Arts Academy. Upon leaving university, Fae made her directorial debut with No More Silence, a show which toured regional Victoria and made international headlines. She has since directed Alice in Wonderland Theatre Blacks, Romeo and Juliet, Pride + Prejudice, and starred in numerous TVC’s and short films. Fae has a strong foundation in comedy, having written successful sketch shows, ‘Law & Order: PTV’ (2019) and ‘Theatre Blacks’ (2018), completed Level 1 at the Improv Conspiracy and worked with Fabio Motta in Clowning Level 1 & 2 and Theatre as Play. She has been on the Melbourne theatre scene for a long time, participating in almost every Melbourne Fringe Festival for the last 10 years. Most recently, she collaborated with award-winning ensemble The Very Good-Looking Initiative on their Fringe Festival shows, ‘Expo ’19 Batmania’ and ‘Poopie Tum Tums’. She has also helped launch new theatre company, Sevenfold, working as their Chairman and Director of Development. She is a lively, spirited performer who believes in telling funny, heartbreaking, authentically Australian stories. Fae O’Toole also works in media as a Live Captioner for Channel 7 & Channel 9.
